I have been involved in the bicycle industry since I was a
teenager. I have worked retail, wholesale and been a pro racer
for 10 years. The experience I gained and the people I met
in the industry have all contributed to the vision of my art
work. I have always wanted to do something with the leftovers
and waste of the industry and in December of 05 I rented a
shop, bought a welding machine and started creating.
Present day Mitchell Metalworks turns out
a limited quantity of art sculpture
made from 100% recycled bicycle parts. Currant designs include
wall maps, coffee table items, shop P.O.P displays, etc Not
to mention the limitless custom potential
